Welcome to the website of the Victorian Community Transport Association (VCTA). Exciting times are ahead for community transport in Victoria and the VCTA will be at the forefront of these developments, advocating and working with government and service providers to improve transport for people and communities across the state.
As a statewide organisation, we’re here to represent the interests of people with transport needs from all parts of Victoria, and all kinds of community transport providers. Our membership and the composition of our Committee of Management reflects this diversity, with our President Becky Morton hailing from rural Victoria, our Secretary, Jim Watkins based in one of our big regional cities and our other members from far and wide across the state, including non-government service providers and local government.
As we work together to improve community transport in Victoria, we welcome input from everybody with positive ideas for change. Through the mechanisms established on this site, or via an old fashioned phone call to one or more of the VCTA Committee members, we’d welcome your input. If your organisation is not already a VCTA member, you might also like to consider joining and making the VCTA an even stronger and more effective voice for positive change.
